This may just be the best time of year....no not because it's Fall and the leaves are turning colors, or because you can eat all the Halloween candy you would like (without feeling guilty that is) but because think about all of the sports currently on television. Right now you are in the middle of the professional football season, college football is well under way, professional basketball is starting (even though there aren't alot of people who I know that really truly care), hockey is in full swing - both professional and collegiate, and lastly , it's November and you can still catch a few games of MLB baseball. (No I did not include Nascar - because it's really not a sport).
So go ahead - relax and rejoice because I really don't think there is much better of a time of year to be a sports fan. Take it in and enjoy it while it lasts.

Worst time of the year.
ReplyDelete1. Cold War is over and no one won, Russian influence is at an all time low- we can stop pretending to like hockey.
2. Professional football is a 40 somthing out of shape fat man's soap opera with more drama than Heidi and Spencer.
3. College anything no one cares in November.
4. NBA, see reasons 2 and 3.
5. Baseball- I posted this comment too late so no comment.
6. Golf is out of season so it is hard for me to fall asleep in the middle of the day.
7. It is fall so I can't go watch my local unaffiliated professional baseball team and pay $5 to sit basically on top of the players, and pass out by the top of the 6th, double fisting cheap beer.
